Detection Pulse is confirmed as Michael's scan: Ctrl+R on PC fires a radar pulse that reveals nearby positions. Where Killer Sense needs line of sight and time, the pulse answers the question sight can't: where is everyone I can't see?

What's confirmed

  • The binding and the function — a pulse, positions revealed, demonstrated on screen.
  • What's still unread: range, cooldown, reveal duration, and whether it distinguishes players from NPCs.

When it earns a slot

The optional pool is three picks from Reality Tear, Blackout, Detection Pulse (and the unverified Evil Presence). The pulse is the pick for the phase sight fails:

  • Endgame hunts — the last residents are hidden in closets and sheds, and hidden residents are deliberately hard to find. The pulse is your answer to a discipline problem civilians barely have tools for themselves.
  • Exit stakeouts — a pulse near a staged escape tells you whether the bush line is an ambush or empty.
  • Finding the key-carrier — the minimap shows civilians who holds key items; the pulse shows you where the holder went.

If your losses sound like "built all game, couldn't find anyone at the end," this is your third slot. If they sound like "found everyone, arrived weak," take the tempo picks first.

If you're a civilian

Assume being found is periodic and make being caught expensive: keep moving after any uncanny beeline he makes, vary loot routes, and hold the defensive ground rules so a reveal never equals a corner.
