Does it earn a slot? Rarely — it's a coupon, not a tool. Lockbox codes open locked stashes and weapon lockers, and everything about them is discount-tier: the same locks fall to bolt cutters, and the contents are usually weapons or junk — nice, not match-deciding.
When to bother
- You're already at the box and the code costs nothing: open it, obviously — a free Magnum is a free Magnum.
- Your cutters are needed at an exit: a code spends the cut you're saving. That's its one genuine niche in the slot economy.
- Otherwise: exit items outrank loot access every time. The match is won at hatches and gates, not lockers.
Notes
Code entry runs the standard number-sequence minigame — fingers on 1–4. Whether codes are consumed on use or reusable knowledge is unread; sources treat them as one-and-done.
