Challenges not counting? What actually helps

"My challenge didn't count" is the most common complaint we track — and it's really three different problems wearing one coat. Sorting out which one you have saves a lot of wasted re-runs.

First: is it a Prestige challenge?

If yes, stop troubleshooting. Prestige challenges were disabled server-side on September 10, 2026 while a bug is investigated — officially confirmed. Nothing you do locally will make them track. Details: Prestige challenges disabled.

Second: did the challenge's hidden conditions fail?

Progressive story challenges (the Chapter 4 Challenge 6 type) have ordering and stealth conditions that fail silently — the chapter continues, but the tracker stops. Before assuming a bug:

• Re-read the challenge text for order and condition requirements.
• Check our walkthroughs — the known failure traps for Chapter 4 Challenge 6 and Chapter 2 Challenge 6 are documented there.
• Confirm the challenge was active before the attempt, not selected afterward.

Third: the genuine tracking bug

Some clean, condition-correct runs still don't record. This is community-reported at meaningful volume and consistent with the developer's September 10 acknowledgment that issues are being investigated. Reported

What players report helping sometimes (none of this is guaranteed):

• Fully restarting the game after an unrecorded completion — some report the credit appears after a restart.
• Completing challenges in online sessions rather than offline practice, where some tracking is reported as inconsistent. Unverified
• Re-running the challenge from a clean chapter start rather than mid-chapter.

What doesn't help

Reinstalling has no credible success reports for this issue, and file-verification helps only when other symptoms (crashes, missing assets) are present.
