Laurie is the film's survivor and the roster's most recognizable hero. What's held up under the newer research: she has better run speed than Annie, and she's one of the "sturdy" characters who can dive through windows without taking damage — a real escape tool in a game where most characters pay health for every dive.

How to play her
The damage-free dive changes her routes: windows are doors for Laurie. That makes her a natural escort and point player — she can take escape lines through houses that would bleed anyone else, and a locked front door (see lights, doors & noise) is a suggestion rather than a wall.
